MFC Studios is a leading, innovative and highly professional dance studio, founded by industry professionals Mike Fellows and Yvonne Rowley. Together, they bring decades of experience, exceptional training standards and award‑winning choreography to every class.

We are proudly inclusive, welcoming dancers of all ages and abilities - from recreational students to elite performers. Our timetable is carefully structured to support each individual’s goals, whether they wish to dance for enjoyment, join our competitive teams, or train towards a professional career in dance and the performing arts.

Both Mike and Yvonne are multi‑award‑winning choreographers and performers, committed to maintaining a supportive, inspiring and disciplined environment in which every student can develop confidence, technical excellence and performance quality.

Our Facilities

MFC is proud to present our brand-new, state-of-the-art studio complex in Bromsgrove. Spanning over 3,000 square feet, the facility has been thoughtfully designed to provide creative, professional, and innovative training spaces that deliver an exceptional experience for dancers of all ages and abilities.

Our studios offer a high-quality environment unlike any other in Bromsgrove, combining industry-standard facilities with a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere. The complex features beautifully designed changing rooms, a modern and spacious reception area, office facilities, high-specification equipment, and advanced safety systems, all complemented by contemporary finishes throughout. Every detail has been carefully considered to ensure both comfort and functionality for students, parents, and staff alike.

With three dedicated studio spaces, MFC is able to offer a wider range of classes, increased availability, and more consistent training opportunities than ever before. Students can benefit from a diverse timetable of classes and experiences, allowing them to develop their skills across multiple styles and disciplines within one professional setting.

OUR TEACHERS

Mike Fellows (Principal)

A three-time World Champion in Freestyle Disco, Mike trained at The Urdang Academy before building a career at the very highest level of the entertainment industry. Stage and screen credits include the Spice Girls Stadium Tour, The BRIT Awards, Wicked, Rocketman, Bridgerton, and Spider-Man: Brand New World, alongside collaborations with directors Steven Spielberg and Ridley Scott.

Commercial work spans Google, M&S, Heineken, and BBC's Glow Up. Alongside his performance career, Mike teaches nationally and internationally, bringing real industry experience to the next generation of performers.

Yvonne Rowley (Principal)

With over 30 years of experience in gymnastics and dance, Yvonne is a specialist in Acro with a 100% exam pass rate with the Associated Board of Dance, including multiple Platinum Awards and Scholarship Winners. Her students have progressed to leading institutions including Italia Conti, The Urdang Academy, and Elmhurst Ballet School, and she has choreographed 1st Place World Champion routines at the Dance World Cup.

Qualifications: ABD (OFQUAL) — Ballet, Tap, Acro, Modern, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip Hop/Commercial; Acrobatic Arts; Contortion/Flexibility; Acrotix Handstand Blocks.

Ediz Ibrahim

Ediz trained at Masters College graduating in 2016, and has since built a diverse career across the performing and entertainment industry.

Credits includes: Take That (BST Hyde Park), Andrea Bocelli (O2 Arena), Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Chaka Khan, Alley Brooke, Becky Hill, Alfie Boe

Theatre includes: Assistant Choreographer in Sleeping Beauty (The London Palladium), For Tonight Musical Concert (Adelphi Theatre), Layton & Nikita Live (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Remembering The Oscar’s (UK Tour), Thelma & Louise Workshop (The Young Vic)

Ballet includes: Reinhardt in Coppélia (Cockpit Theatre).
Film includes: Wicked, Elden Ring, Horrible Histories, Gyso

Television includes: Bridgerton, Heartstopper, Doctor Who, Horrible Histories, Britains Got Talent, Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway

Commercials includes: British Airways, Ministry of Sound, Boss Tea, Uber, The Ivy

Ediz has also taught at the biggest colleges, studios and establishments across the UK Enhanced DBS.

Sophie Speed

Sophie began her training at RSA Academy before studying a two-year Musical Theatre course and a one-year Dance course at Kidderminster College.

She then went on to complete three years of professional training at the prestigious Italia Conti Academy, graduating with a Diploma. During her training, Sophie specialised in Singing, Acting, Musical Theatre, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Latin, Commercial, Acrobatics/Tricks, and Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT).

Throughout her performing career, Sophie has appeared in numerous theatre productions, worked as a singer and dancer, travelled internationally for performances, and competed at the Dance World Cup.

With several years of teaching experience, Sophie is passionate about inspiring the next generation of performers. She loves sharing her knowledge, building her students’ confidence, and watching them develop their skills and achieve their full potential.

Alongside teaching, Sophie has received awards in recognition of her outstanding choreography, reflecting her creativity, dedication, and commitment to excellence in dance.

Professional Training

Competition Team

Designed for students who wish to perform and compete at all levels within a fun, supportive, and family-oriented environment. The team encourages the development of confidence, teamwork, performance skills, and personal growth, while allowing students to enjoy the rewarding experience of dance competitions together.

Elite Competition Team

Designed for students training and competing at an advanced level, this team attends prestigious competitions and championships throughout the year. The programme focuses on technical excellence, outstanding performance quality, commitment, and access to elite-level training and development opportunities.

Annual Theatre Production

An exciting opportunity for all MFC students to perform on stage and showcase to family and friends everything they have achieved throughout the year, while sharing their passion for dance alongside their teammates.

Carnival Performance

A fantastic opportunity for students to participate in local festivals, perform within the community, celebrate their achievements, and most importantly enjoy being part of the MFC Studios family.

Industry Workshops & Masterclasses

Students will have the opportunity to attend workshops at MFC Studios led by professional dancers and performers from the industry, providing valuable experience, inspiration, and insight into the professional dance world.

Convention Participation & Performances

MFC provides dancers with exciting opportunities to train, perform, and connect within the UK dance industry at some of the country’s largest conventions and events. Students participate in workshops and masterclasses led by leading industry professionals, while gaining exposure to prestigious programmes and colleges through scouting opportunities. Dancers can also enjoy exclusive experiences including experience day prizes and access to the latest dance-wear and industry trends.

In addition, MFC performers regularly take to the stage to showcase the exceptional talent within the studio at major events including Can You Dance, MOVE IT, The Super Weekender, and many more.

Examinations

MFC students have the opportunity to undertake dance examinations across a wide range of styles, from early years and mini levels through to advanced senior qualifications. These examinations provide dancers with strong technical foundations through a structured progression of graded tiers, supporting the development and maintenance of both technical and choreographic skills.

In addition, higher-level qualifications can contribute towards UCAS points, providing valuable support for students applying to further education, colleges, and universities within the performing arts sector.

Scholarships

As a member of the Associated Board of Dance, students may be nominated by the adjudicator during examinations and medal tests to attend the annual Scholarship Day. Successful candidates may be awarded funding towards their ongoing dance training, in addition to the opportunity to participate in the Theatre Dance Council International Grand Finals, traditionally held in Blackpool.
